Kingston 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM Memory Module

Strengths: GOOD Quality

My Dell inspirion 6000 ran like a CHAMP after I installed this memory more than a year ago and still going strong. Now I brought a same 2nd stick to expand it to 2GB and take advantage for the Dual Channel and see how fast they can go. ZOOM! ZOOM! ZOOM!

I bought this memory for my insprion XPS gen2. It is very easy to install. So far I haven't found any problem with it. With the quality and its price, I would recommend this memory to everyone.

Great Memory for the Price

Strengths: Cheap, Fast

Weakness: None so far

I have not had much to do with upgrading computers, but this is my first real upgrade, and I am impressed. It is easy to install and my computer runs a whole lot faster now. Thanks Kingston!

Strengths: DDR2 is the next-generation evolution of DDR memory technology. DDR2 memory features faster speeds, higher data bandwidths, lower power consumption and enhanced thermal performance.

Bought this for $105 all in at mwave for my new Dell Inspiron 9300 and it definitely works nicely with the 256MB that came with it. But if anything were to happen, the manufacterer has a lifetime warranty for it.

Strengths: The usual Kingston quality

Purchased this memory directly from Kingston while they were on sale for my Dell 6000. The other memory is a 400. Pop this in and system bootup without problem. Kingston also give me a 10% coupon for future purchase directly from them. Very happy with the memory.

I installed this memory into my Dell Ispiron 6000. It was easy to install, and the laptop runs much quicker and smoother now. I would recommend this to anyone for the ease of installation, and for return on investment.

Very Good Vista Laptop Upgrade

Strengths: Quick installation with no recognition issues upon start up. I had immediate results and no need for screwing around with the system to make it work.

Weakness: none

Quick installation with no trouble for computer to recognize and run. Vista needs as much RAM as you can give it. I have an Acer Aspire 5570z and it ran horribly with the 512MB RAM originally installe

Excellent product for this price

Strengths: Lifetime warranty, good brand, Lot of memory on a single chip.

It was a great replacement for my 2 256MB sticks on the inspiron 6000 notebook. Now it runs much faster and i still have a slot free to expand it upto 2 gb.
I'm happy.

Incredible... 6 Stars if I could give that many.

Strengths: - It's a 1GB SO-DIMM -- more RAM than my desktop PC (512MB) - It runs at a 533MHz clock speed - Works perfectly in the Dell Inspiron 6000 that only provides 400MHz RAM - Brand name... Kingston

I was doing research on this RAM before I bought my Dell Inspiron 6000 because I knew the Dell laptop was only going to come with 400MHz RAM even if I bought a processor that supported 533MHz. So, I found this Kingston RAM that people were giving good reviews about, and I have nothing to add to those reviews except that if you get a Dell Inspiron 6000 like I did, pick up this RAM or at least the 512MB version of this RAM, and get the base RAM that Dell will allow you to have (for me it was 256MB), and take the base RAM out when you get it and switch it with one of these Kingston bad-boys, and make your Dell fly.

I hooked this ram on my dell 9300 and it works well. I am satisfied with the performance so far. Also it has lifetime warranty from Kingston. I bought it from the kingston website cheaper than any place else. Quite happy with it so far.

Strengths: DDR2 is the way to go .. new technology .. superfast ram for the same ram quantity.

I would highly recommend Kingston ram for upgrades. With a lifetime warranty behind their products, they are simply the best and cheapest ram money can buy.

Strengths: The website was good, had good variety of products at a reasonable price.

Weakness: Did not have specific application information.

Overall, the website was good and had a good variety of computer related hardware with a few softwares products as well. The purchasing ease and experience was good. The customer website was unknown to me. However, it was recommended by www.pricegrabber.com. Hence, I relied on it.

However, when I bought a notebook memory, it did not have any information about the specific notebooks that the memory could be used for. That information would have been helpful in making my decision quicker.

works for toashiba M45-269, M452692

I bought for my TOSHIBA M45-269 and m45-2692 works great, if you have this laptop you can be shore will work since I use already 1 month

Important: have a lot of kinds of memory, you need to buy exact for your laptop/ desktop. Here is the four things to select:

Very Good

Strengths: Good Quality, Fast, Lifetime Warranty

I bought this memory to install on my new Dell Inspiron 6000D which came pre-installed with 256MB DDR2 PC2-3200. I plan on selling the 256MB. With total of 1GB, my computer runs noticably faster. I have not have any problems so far and if do the lifetime warranty should come in handy.

I was looking to upgrade my laptop. I currently have this Kingston, and another 512MB Hynix stick.. but I think I'm going to upgrade to 2GB of two sticks of this stuff. I bought it when it was about $45, and mwave lowered it just a few days later (lol). But I do recommend this product. My laptop runs a lot smoother (with 1.5GB of ram now). considering how affordable and fast this stuff really is I think i'll just buy a second stick to go to 2GB. I have an Acer 5102WLMi. I strongly recommend that you buy two and dual channel.

This product works great. It is also reasonably priced for a 1GB stick of ram for a notebook. It's an essential upgrade for anyone who's running 512 or less on their notebooks if you ask me. Great product!

I bought this piece of memory to install on my new Dell Inspiron 6000D coming with pre-installed 256MB DDR2 PC2-3200 (later sold it in online auction). With total of 1GB, noticably, my system works faster and smoother. In spite the compatibility is not confirmed by Dell, you can take my words it should fit your Dell Inspiron 6000. I suggest you do some shopping search (right here at pricegrabber), and you should get a very good deal on this memory or else.
