corsair is always reliableStrengths: works right out of the box, as always Weakness: none navigating the manufacturer's website to find compatible memories was straightforward. I have been building systems and upgrading with corsair for years and none of them have failed me, and I don't expect them to. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Consair DDR2 XMS2 series has always worked well,...Strengths: works well practally for all users, gamer /non-gamer Weakness: none so far. and "non ever" since i've bought the Consair XMS2 series ram before. purchased around Oct 2006, it has work great ever since. my original system comes with only 1 gig of ram, by adding one more gig from Consair, it has dramatically increase system performance on game applications. strongly recommend all gamer to buy this product. you won't regret it ^^ 100% of readers found this review helpful. Corsair 6400 DDR2Strengths: Overclocked at 875 MHZ and runs true and stable. Absolutely screams on my XP Pro box with p4 650 chip Weakness: Latencies were a little higher then I like. But over- clocking made it worth it. The Crucial Ballistix product line was designed to run at speeds above and beyond industry standard specifications, Ballistix is not for the mainstream computer user. The Ballistix product line was developed specifically for gamers and power users who are trying to squeeze every bit of performance out of their systems. If you're a casual computer user, sending e-mail, surfing the Web, or downloading photos from your digital camera, then Ballistix probably isn't the product match for your needs. Crucial Ballistix modules are tested and carry a limited lifetime warranty. 50% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

DDR2 memory works great at 800 MhzStrengths: Solid performer, compatible with Gigabyte DS3 mobo, nice spreader, quality over generic, lfetime warranty Weakness: High latencies This is my first time usiong Corsair memory, and it works great in my DS3 mobo running Dual Core 2 cpu. Runs solid at rated speed. Corsair looks like quality products that I can trust over generic memory (piece of mind). I don't think I will have to return due to bad quality. The main reason why I bought it was price! Much lower than other memory and their higher latencies - but I don't really need to overclock tothe limits. This memory works after overclocking my 6300E (1.86 Ghz) to over 3+ Ghz. Never had a glitch with this memory. 0% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

DDR2 at a Great ValueStrengths: Corsair a very reputable manufacturer, fast DDR2 timings, great price Weakness: none that I have seen so far I needed DDR2 RAM for my HTPC build that would be fast, reliable, yet inexpensive. This RAM fit the bill. Great performance and reliability, what you'd expect from Corsair. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Nice memory !Strengths: Easy install, speedy, built-in heat-sinks Weakness: None The two memory sticks were easy to install onto my new GA-M59SLI-S5 motherboard, just took a few seconds. No problems since then and I've been enjoying the speedy system responses these have contributed to. I think the heat sinks are a nice touch, should keep everything running cooler. Very fast, but also flexible with low voltageStrengths: very fast timing good support works on m-ATX 1.9v motherboards Weakness: none I ran these on a geforce 6150-based micro ATX board. I was worried that it wouldn't work right, as the board only works at 1.8-1.9v, but the memory worked like a champ at the rated speed. Didn't (couldn't) try overclocking. Corsair 1GB PC2-6400 DDR2 DIMM KitStrengths: Great price Good memory Weakness: None I have always had good luck with Corsair memory and this is no exception. It runs great in my new system and I got it for a very reasonable price. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

great memory for the valueStrengths: nice price ddr2 technology Weakness: latency Everything is fantastic about this stick except the latency. But if your cpu supports the ddr2 speed @ 800mhz, this is more than enough to overcome the relatively slow latency of ddr2 modules. Get this for a value system. Most often, you do NOT NEED 2gb, 1GB kit like this is PLENTY for MOST users. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Corsair XMS 1GB
Strengths: 800mhz!!! And that's without overclocking :) A solid set of RAM for anyone.
Weakness: Lactencies are a little high([er] than the super-ultra, gotta-have, wallet-breaking, high speed gaming RAM)...these sticks are still wickedly sick. (fast)
A solid product from Corsair. Easy installation and an awesomely cool-looking heat spreader on each stick are what make me a proud owner of this Corsair product :) ...btw - make sure your motherboard is compatible with the RAM through the Corsair website (it'll save you a headache, or two)
