Great Board!!!!Strengths: very versatile and lots of future upgrade possibilities Weakness: none this is a great board for the price! reccomended by MaximumPC magazine, and has onboard hardware audio!!! SLI when you want it, and also Dual Core Athlons for when they come down in price! can't beat this deal!!! 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Awesome MotherboardStrengths: Good price, SLI mode, cheaper then Platinum edition, X2 Dual-core ready, built-in creative soundblaster live chipset. Weakness: None. I've usually stuck with Asus, but following my friend's suggestions to try MSI for my next pc build, I can say I am very pleased. Excellent build-quality, easy layout, and the most feature rich motherboard I have ever seen. As always, pricegrabber let me find the cheapest price, and all I can say is thank you. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Very good moboStrengths: Integrated Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24Bit HD Ready 7.1 channel. Easy setup, good overclocker Cheap compared with others Weakness: There's no official info about this model on the entire MSI site I don't have any issue at all, the sound of the integrated Creative 24bits is amazing, but I would like to find on the support area of MSI, info, driver updates and new bios, this model simply does not exist 50% of readers found this review helpful. MSI K8N Neo4 SLI MotherboardStrengths: Good HSF retaining frame, Creative Labs Sound Weakness: SOFTWARE RAID! Will NOT work with existing RAID arrays! BEWARE. Did you want to keep that RAID 1 array that you had that was keeping your data protected? Oops, too bad. Nvidia (not MSI, no hating now) chose NOT to enable support for existing arrays in their RAID chipset, so unless you want to make a brand-new RAID set you are SOL. Plus, since this is a software-supported RAID and not fully hardware-based, the nex time Windows crashes, it could take your entire file system with it, especially if using RAID 0, as half your striping system just got reduced to electronic spaghetti by a grand mal HD seizure. Consider this motherboard to support 4 SATA drives and move on. 0% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Excellent choice !
Strengths: Top board- great price vs "platinum". Stable, Sturdy and easy to ply with. 7 ch on board sound.
Weakness: Echoing the fact that MSI seems to have forgot they made this board... Thin on PCI slots/options. SATA set up painful.
This board is excellent coming in at a cost of a little over a 100.00 from ZZF. Versus the platinum cost, that's a nice savings.I just love this board. Major reason I went with was my previous good exp with MSI boards as well as the the onboard Creative 7.1. Most pleased by that. Getting the SATA controls set and working was a bit of a booger, but doable. I'm running a slight OC issue free as well, and I know from previous exp with MSIs boards you can OC the piss out of 'em if you have good memory. Running a simple 3200+ with 2 sticks of Corsair XMS 1024s, 1(currently) MSI 6600 gt all tucked into a Thermaltake Tenor with some silent cooling. What a nice HTPC I have with mad space, great sound, and gameability too !
