Very nice case, but...

Strengths: Look, interior space and ventilation

Weakness: Weak powersupply

I have this case for several weeks now, and have the follow spec’s: P4 2.6@ 3.2, one 250GB HD, two DVD RW, 2 GB ram, 6800 AGP, and Audigy 2 ZX. My P4 idle at 26C and 44C at full load. The case really keeps the temp down and very quiet as well. Putting everything together is easy and fast. There are some sharp edges, so be careful. The weakness is power supply, the 12v rail drop to 11.07 at full load, and sometimes crash and reboot. I calculated the amp needed for my system, and the PS should be enough if it performs the way it supposed to. Oh well, I might have to get a regular size PS and used shorter DVD drives like Lite-on.

Bottom line, a really nice case, except you might need to invest into a better power supply.

great micro option with lots of features

Strengths: attractive, lots of room, great cooling, very light

Weakness: a bit flimsy and scratchable, power supply?

What I like best about this case is that it is so campact yet still offers enough room to build a very flexible system. I think it is a very attractive design, with dual 5.25 and a 3.5 bay with front access as well as USB, firewire, and audio. It's just begging to be turned into a media center PC or a partable LAN-party gamer station.

This case arrived in perfect condition except for some minor scratches in the silver plastic. The windows were all covered with sheets of protective plastic to prevent scratching.

The fans are reasonably quiet, but not quite as silent as a larger Antec case I have. The aluminum case is very light, but a little flimsy until you get components installed.

The only real issue I have with this case is with the power supply. Apparently there are multiple versions of this case available with different power supplies. I purchased 2 of these cases, and each has a different power supply. One of the 2 lists separate 12v rails, and the other lists a single large 12v output. Also, the fans are placed differently on the bottom of each. Unfortunately the silver case I received came with only the 20-pin power connector and no 24-pin adapter like the other one did. Both PSU's work great with overclocked rigs including x800gto cards, and have better specs listed on them than on the manufacturer's site.

Overall, I really like this case and would buy again for my next project.

Aspire X-Qpack Silver mATX/Baby AT Cube

Strengths: Compact, Stylish, LCD Temperature CPU and HDD Indicator.

Weakness: None So Far

This Baby AT Cube is pretty compact and stylish. I like the CPU and HDD Temperature indicator. It has a convenient handle too. The Black and Silver color perfectly matches my Dell 17'' LCD TV/Monitor. The design is like "Let it Show". I also like the way motheboard slides in. Intelligent Design.

Great item for the buck!!

Strengths: Great size, Great design, Geat Product

Weakness: Handle may be a little weak but terrible

I was very leary on buying this from reading a few reviews on Newegg.com. But it went on sale and I figured what the heck. I recieved it and installed all the parts and was greatly impressed. I love the sive the the box and the mobility it has. It seems to be very durible and will last a long time. I highly recemend this item as both a normal PC or a gaming PC.

Aspire X-Qpack (silver and black trim)

Strengths: Excellent ventilation (unimpeded 120 mm exhaust fan!). Room for TWO optical drives and two hard drives.

Weakness: Build quality is adequate. Finish easily scratched (especially clear windows when removing and replacing U-cover). Sample to sample quality control?

This is a very nice small form factor case, especially for the price (got mine for $83 shipped). It's got excellent case ventilation (unimpeded 120 mm exhaust fan) and great flexibility for a small form factor case (two optical drive bays and room for two hard drives). I really like the overall look of the case, but build quality is commeasurate with price. Finish scratches very easily (be careful when removing and replacing U-cover, as it's very easy to scratch those clear windows). Does not contain noise very well, but is actually very quiet in normal use, especially if you undervolt the 120 mm exhaust fan (smooth, but just produces a lot of wind noise). 80 mm fan in the psu makes a lot of bearing noise if you put your ear up against it's exhaust, but oddly seems to get easily drowned out by other noises in normal use (and I am building this computer with silence in mind). Mine had no problems, but I've read that there might be issues with sample to sample quality control (might have been early production run problems; don't know). Overall I'm very happy with this case and would definitely buy again, especially since the price seems to be dropping (saw it for $79 shipped recently at one of the online vendors).

Not extremely good, but overall satisfactory

Strengths: Aluminium body, PSU included, dual 5.25'' bay

Weakness: Handle flimsy, looking is actually not as good as expected. Room for CPU fan is limited.

Included PSU works fine for me. It has mirror finish and naive SATA power supply, but not 24-pin ATX power cable. This is the only mATX case that I can find (Chenming makes one but I think Chenming is also the OEM for this QPack.) The only problem for me is that the room for CPU fan is limited. I have cut off the fan grill to fit. If your fan+headsink is more than 7.5cm high, then you can't fit in. Cooling of the case is good, even though there is only one case fan.

Midsize ATX

Strengths: Well made

Weakness: A bit bulky

This box is no baby AT cube. It is a lot bigger than those SFF boxes but it is very solid with a nice handle. The advantage of the bigger case is that it provides ample room for a double slot video card.

looking good

Strengths: Its nice eyecandy with its blue light silver and black color. It also beats the big ATX with it compact size and easy to carry.

Weakness: It little too wide for some desk

Overall i rather have this case for the price and it compatiblity. switching to a smaller cases help me with living in a apt. with the only disavantage was the fewer bays.

Nice case, even for a first time pc builder...

Strengths: compact, see-through panels, case handle (not try yet), temp lcd, good looking 420w PSU, mobo sliding tray, good ventilation, 120mm fan with blue light, , many colors to choose.

Weakness: a little loud fan (might try get a quieter one), bad front head phone jack, and pricey?

Cool looking case. It's small with 420w PSU, and blue LED glowing fan. It also has convenient front usb/ firewire/headphone/microsphone ports. Beautiful see-through panels I suggest that taking off the covering plastics from the window panels only the pc installation is almost done or you will scratch or break it as the case feels very filmsy. Fan is a little loud for me. And bad part is the heaphone jack which has a lot of static (it was working fine for like 3 days, then noise appeared). Overall, not bad even for a first time PC builder (like me :)

Great mATX LAN Party Case. Not for HTPC'rs

Strengths: Nice looking. Sturdy construction (mostly). PSU included. Room for full-size expansion cards.

Weakness: The pull-up handle is flimsy. It gives when the case is empty, load it up and you've got a problem. Side cooling vents may clog up with dust.

I don't do LAN parties. . . but I have learned some lessons since Hurricane Katrina. Be portable. I just wanted to give you an idea of where I am coming from with my opinion.

Sometimes, a full size case just is not the best solution, especially when you have to be on the go. Whether you are moving around alot (or being forced to move around, in my case), or you just need a space-saving solution; this case is the answer. It is small enough to save you alot of space but large enough to house even your most powerful Geforce or Radeon video cards, thanks to an included 420W power supply. The model I have has 3 windows but you can choose to buy the windowless version if you don't want your PC to "glow." To me, if you are going to shell out the money to custom build your own system, get the windowed version to show off your expertise! Everything about this case is near perfect, except the flimsy handle. The case is heavy enough empty. With a full load, you are asking for a disaster if you attempt to use the handle. I've heard alot of complaints regarding it so maybe a 3rd-party vendor can provide a solution. We shall see. Other than that, this is a top-notch case.

XQpack

Strengths: Good airflow, good amount of space

Weakness: Not the smallest case out there

This is a nice case for the price. Good airflow with the vents up front and the 120mm fan exhaust. Run the fan at 7V to cut down on the noise. A full power supply can be installed, but will limit what CD/DVD drives can be installed. Had no problem installing anything becuase of its size. LCD temp display is a nice touch. Very nice case.
