MSI Audio PC Mega 651Barebone DesktopStrengths: Small, and packed with alot of cool features. Weakness: Sis chipset, Only takes up to p4 2.8 533mhz northwood. Wish it could support prescott. When first looking at this barebone pc you can't help but love how it looks. It's orange LCM Panel alone makes this an appealing product. The features you get with it are amazing. You can listen to the radio while browsing the internet also instead of booting the whole system up to listen to MP3's you can instead turn on the hifi feature and insert an mp3 cd. Something you should be aware of though is that the space is limited inside. I had a hard time installing my GEFORCE 5200 AGP. So if you buy an agp card make sure it's small and doesn't need a fan. 50% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

MSI Audio PC Mega 651Barebone Desktop
Strengths: Features, Compact size, Price, Quality Construction.
Weakness: Things are tight in there - disassembled the AGP card [Radeon 7500 w/Tuner] to squeeze it in. The provided remote is not programmable & does not have "mouse-movement" functions. Backlit LCD always on.
This is a very nice package. Lots of features, good price, and appears to be well-built. Onboard 5.1 Digital Sound and SRS stereo sounds great.
Assembly was pretty easy and straight-forward - except for the installation of AGP card: I had to detach the backplate from the board (4 screws) and install both pieces separately in order to get it in.
Unfortunately the remote will end up in the remote graveyard (as it is only useful for radio/CD and is not programmable, does not "mouse", and works only with MSI TV Tuner card). I guess I will be purchasing a Radeon Remote to really make things come together.
One other nag: the backlit LCD is always on.
