Excellent Board! Just Awesome!Strengths: This board has it all from an easy layout to perfect precision part location. With the case I chose the connectors for the mobo are just perfect. Weakness: None, everything about this board screams perfection and it does work with SLI.. No problems there. This board is really quite amazing. Everything is in a great location, well for my case that is. I went with the Antec TX635 and replaced the power supply with a new one from zipzoomfly the sp500. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

asus p5ld2 deluxeStrengths: This board has all the features I need plus more, great for gamers as well as video and graphics. Allows me to have ample pci cards and pci express with dual channel memory very fast Weakness: Had to get another processor to flash the bios so that was a hassle This is a good board but beware if you have a 9XX series pentium D you will need to flash the bios and its a major pain if you do not have a extra chip 80% of readers found this review helpful. Mar 24, 2006 I purchased this motherboad and a Pentium D930. It did not work (would not boot) so I had to take it back to Fry's Electronics for at check. They advised me the board was bad and that they had to flash the bios. It works great now. Are you suggesting that maybe the only problem was flashing the Bios?

great board!Strengths: cool running; dependable; lots of options for PCIE; IDE; lots of abuse and still ticking (forgot to vacuum fan ports and led to overtemps but no harm) Weakness: none, really; it's getting a little old (ex: only support Pentium D as cpu upgrade. But that's not the board's fault - I've had it for eons). currently P4 next step to update to Pentium D 94x dual core then replace it in a couple of years with 21st century model - but it'll be an ASUS. I think I got my money's worth! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

P5LD2 Deluxe not greatStrengths: none that I can find Weakness: continual problems, no ASUS support I have had this board for over two years now. Replaced 3 times under warranty. It seems to have problems recognizing USB 2 hardware. All drivers etc have been updated. Error messages keep popping up advising that the USB 2 device could run faster if plugged into a USB 2 port....they are. Boot up problems recognizing USB and IDE devices. I also keep getting error message on boot up that over clocking has failed...interesting because I haven't made any adjustments to that, factory settings. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Solid Board
Strengths: Supports many processors, including dual cores, nice open design, many included elements onboard
Weakness: The support for IDE is spotty. The two red RAID IDE controllers are not recognized by XP.
This board is a great deal for the price. I have have very solid response and everything necessary is on board, so you can use your PCI slots for fun things.
