Great card for more money

Strengths: excellent performance, TV in/out great, quiet fan

Weakness: support is not good, manual and software is bad

it's a great hign end video card for sure. watch TV and DVD smoothly, play most of 3d games (I have) without problem. I am very happy its performance when it has been set up completely. the downside are the driver and softwares, I spent a while to fix the problems. overall, it's the best card I have got so far.

ATI does it again with this top performer...

Strengths: Excellent graphics, TV quality is great, R430 core uses little energy for a lot of output...

Weakness: Alot of drivers needed in order to get all you can from the card

This is definitely one of the best cards I have owned thus far. With a low price tag, and all the included peripherals (FM tuner, Remote, ATI's Media Center 9) it's a steal. It completely blows my old Nvidia GeForce 6600GT out of the ballpark. If you put ATITool to use, you'll see that you can squeeze even more out of this already great product. If you're looking for more than a video card, one...

Well done ATI

Strengths: High end, tons of extras, lots of connections, 3D gamming is very good and quiet fan.

Weakness: Support web page is not straight forward, the catalyst software still have some minor problems and if you have Prince of Persia it will not play on this video card.

I'm very happy with this video card, it has no problem with the 3d games. Using the Auto CAD software with this card is very nice and fast. The video capturing is superb, TV tunning is good (it has it's problem but I got them fix) FM tunning rocks. As a suggestion to all people out there, if you are looking for a video card that does TV/FM Tunning, video capturing ( which is very nice), gaming...

Good performance for the money

Strengths: Good price-to-performance, TV In/Out, low power consumption, relatively quiet fan, single slot card

Weakness: No dual DVI, card length

Geforce 6800GT cards are pricey for my needs so I was strongly considering getting a Geforce 6600GT card. After reading an online and magazine review of the ATI Radeon X800 XL, I had almost changed my mind. The deal was sealed when I read another online review of the card in which their test setup used the same motherboard that I purchased. In a nutshell, I'm happy with the performance of the...

'Demand' the ability to disable 'TV-on-Demand'

Strengths: Good Video Chipset

Weakness: Awful Drivers, Extreme Video Input Delays, Abilities fail sometimes

Initially, I was happy with the card. Video output was excellent compared to my old card. All 3D apps render 15 times faster, so I see, in comparisson to my old PC. However, I used my old All-in-Wonder 7500 to capture video from video game consoles, (PS2, Gamecube, etc.) Happy with the quality, I went with another. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T GET THIS. Video Game Captures, as well as a few other...

Great card

Strengths: people who say they are having problems with this card must either not be hooking it up correctly or they do not have the correct system requirements. you cannot blame the card if you don't know how t

Weakness: Great Graphics! Fairly easy to set up, Duel monitor is also Great, watch DVD's on TV screen

A good card for the money. Good quality TV picture, nice remote. I too think a good graphics only card and a seperate tuner card would be the way to go because of the software/driver glitches. Follow instructions to the "T" when installing this product or expect alot of headaches

All in woner x800 xl

Strengths: still high end, tons of extras, many connections for external connections

Weakness: support is very slow if any at all, user manual is a little week

All in all it is a good graphic card that can handle many high end games. It is not the top ati card but it is the high end card of the middle class. If you are buying this card for capturing things by the composite inputs i would not suggest this card. I would get a separate card for that as I have had problems with capturing and the support is week if you have any problems. But aside from that...

What have they done to my All-In-Wonder?

Strengths: Ok for games.

Weakness: Pure crap for TV.

I'm satisfied with X800 XL card for playing the game America's Army, very smooth graphics even with 3D settings cranked up to the highest level at 1024x768 resolution. With my previous ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 XT AGP card the game was unplayable, I was "stuck in the matrix" so to speak even when no network lag present. I replaced with ATI All-In-Wonder X800 XL PCI-E, and now I get amazing results,...

Would NOT buy again.

Strengths: Hardware seems to work fine

Weakness: Software is completly unusable.

I have been using this product for some months and am completely unsatisfied with it. The control center that came with the card would not work when I updated it from ATI's site then the TV would not work. When I unistalled everything and installed the newest from their site the DVD player would not work. At this point that would be fine I would rather use someone, anyone, elses product, but...
