Overpriced but necessary wihtout a harddiskStrengths: Just plug it in and it works Weakness: This is terribly overpriced for what it does. This is a Microsoft proprietary USB memory stick. As mentioned in the Weaknesses, the same generic memory can be had for under $10 at most any store. I wish Microsoft would allow the use of generic USB memory sticks so I could get a much better value for my money. If so I could buy a 1 GB sticik on sale for $15 and have a much more useful product.

Xbox 360 64MB memory UnitStrengths: Easy way to take your gamertag profile with you. Can hold many game saves for core owners Most XBLA titles can fit on it Weakness: Due to DRM, paid for download content if moved to a memory card doesn't work on different consoles unless connected to live. Newer XBLA titles wont fit Always good to have a memory unit if you can get one cheap. Though this has little purpose for general game saves as the premium 360 comes with a 20GB HDD and the elite 360 comes with a 120 GB HD. If you are a core owner, there is now a superior memory card that holds 512MB.

Purchased for sonStrengths: Seems to work great, he hasnt ask for a larger mb and plays games all day. Weakness: Havent seen any as of yet. Would purchase again if needed. Son loves it and it saves his place with his games great. He hasnt complained with lack of storage space so I suppose it holds memory to his liking. Advertisement

With Microsoft set to release the 512MB version of the memory unit (MU), the meager 64MB version will soon be flooding eBay and used game stores -- for dirt cheap. This is good news for any 360 owner looking for a convenient way to back up or transport his or her valuable content. Plus, those who own a Core 360 need a MU or hard drive to save games and make the most of their gaming experience....
