solid for two months now

Strengths: Solid rails, quiet, does not undervolt.

Weakness: None

I had upgraded to an x2 4200 processor, and soon after doing so, my system was mysteriously shutting down. I owned an ostensibly good psu. However, my best guess was that the shutdowns were due to the psu and so I bought this Enermax Liberty after doing lots of homework. I have had no mysterious shutdowns since.

Awesome PSU!

Strengths: Looks nice, ultra quiet, it is modular, and it is 500 watts with split 12v rails at 22A each! Great for your SLI gaming rig!

Weakness: Some of the cables have a lot of extra connectors that you dont use... I wish the would have used more cables vs. trying to squeeze about of connectors on a few cables.

This is one of the best PSU's I have ever purchashed! It looks soooooo nice with its sleek black paint! It powers my system extemely stable! I checked in bios and everything is right on! GO ENERMAX! My System: DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert (Bios 2005/12/07) AMD Athlon 64 FX55 San Diego Mushkin eXtreme Performance 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 500 eVGA 256-P2-N517-AX Geforce 7800GT (Bios 13.7B) WD Raptor...

Strengths: cable management, clean power, 12cm fan, quiet and efficient

Weakness: none

This is a very good power supply. I did a lot of research, and came to this. Great Power Supply

Strengths: Solid Voltages Dual Rails Modular Cables

Weakness: None Thus Far

This is a solid power supply in every facet. 500 Watts on Dual rails, modular cabling, active PFC, 80% Efficiency - what else could you ask for. I went through 2 other power supplies before settling on this one. The first, a 430Watt power supply that came with the case, blew the first day I had my system up on running. The second, a 450Watt no name from a local retail store, blew after 4 days and...

Enermax Liberty ELT500AWT 500W ATX12V Ver 2.2 AC...

Strengths: Deadily quiet, very nice looking, SLI ready, sufficient 12v..

Weakness: No Cons.

This is a great PSU, especially if you're going SLI. It has all the cables you need & then some. Dual PCI-e ports built in w/ cables & a 22" power cable fits perfectly in my Silverstone TJ06B case. My OCZ Modstream 520 wouldn't fit, so I had to move to this PSU & I'm glad I did. The cables are very user friendly & have convenient SATA connectors on each cable. This may or may not be suited for...

Enermax PSU

Strengths: modular design

Weakness: expensive

I bought this because of the Enermax reputation in PSU products. I do not have test equipments to measure this product's performance but reviews on this are very good. Judging from the looks(exterior and interior), this is a high quality power supply.

premature failure x2

Strengths: quiet, modular cables, new ones support PCIe 2.0 graphics

Weakness: Cables alternate SATA/Molex/SATA/MOlex makes it very difficult to use as many drives as they list for max. Very few options for other cables, and they're difficult to find.

mine failed after about 9 months. It took about 10 days round trip for the RMA return, and the brand new power supply in a shrink wrapped box failed prior to installation. I used an Antec 20/24 pin power supply tester from circuit city to test the PSU before installing it, and it showed all rails proper voltage, but a fault. I foolishly installed the PSU anyway, hoping the $20 test device was...

Enermax Liberty Pwnz!!!

Strengths: Silent; Sleek; Convenient; Affordable; Powerful. This power supply runs as good as any PC Power & Cooling's best. I highly recommend this product.

Weakness: Well, it's not as quiet as passive cooling; but that's to be expected.

More and more people are building their own computers, because it is the cost effective way to go! Modular cabling, tool less cases, etc. are making computer building a top hobby. However, modular cabling has a long way to go, but the company that gets there first is going to be the big winner!

Very Nice!

Strengths: Steady and clean power, neat with black coating, modular, 2 pci-e plug, good quality.

Weakness: None. You get what you pay for.

Using this in a Athlon 64 X2 system with SLI and two hard drives in a RAID 1 configuration. Absolutely no problems, and I love the modular connector design and the fact that I actually have two dedicated PCI-E power leads.

Enermax Liberty EL500AWT & EL620AWT power supplies

Enermax has made a good effort to make sure there are "No more Limits" on cable clutter or confusing cable configurations. The plentiful and intelligently designed modular cable system is the best feature of the Liberty. Freedom from noise is also available, at least up to ~150W output, which may be plenty good enough for many systems. The overall acoustic performance is similar to that of the...

Enermax heads in a new direction with its Liberty series: For the first time, this old-timer among power supply makers offers devices with modular cable management. Enermax doesn't just throw those cables randomly into a power supply box, either: it packs them up very nicely inside a roll-up pouch. This keeps the wiring organized and prevents cables from going astray or getting lost.
