Crucial Ballistix 512MB DDR SDRAM Memory Module

Strengths: Superior overclocking ability

Weakness: High price

I went with Ballistix because of their ability to support high clock speeds without slowind down the CLK timings. So far I have not overclocked, but high performance settings in the BIOS did not give me any problems. I tested it extensively with memtest.

Ballistix

This is same as the ddr500 ones just set for tighter timings ran them at ddr600 for 6 months now but they run hot. You could try put heatsinks on them they will last a very long time i run them at 3.2v still not dead no problems memtest86 passes every time at ddr600

Great memory!

Strengths: Fast: rated at 2-2-2-6, set my PC for 2-2-2-7. Not too much faster at this price. Upgrade from PC2700 memory was immediately noticeable.

Weakness: Not a lifetime warranty?

West to various web sites (tomshardware.com) and compared price/performance of all major brands. This one seemed to be the best for what I wanted to spend, and what I perceived that my CPU & motherboard could take advantage of. I'll buy another 512MB in a few months.
